So I got to drive and review the 2016 Fiesta ST a while back. From that snowballed this little beasty. A 2015 Focus ST! And not just any one, one that has some bolt ons and a tune resulting in a nice 253hp and 330tq to the wheels! And boy did you feel that!

After driving this I honestly think Ford has got it nailed down. Sure, lots of toque steer. But also lots of fun! And the extra power and space above the Fiesta ST is a nice bonus!

What do you think of the Focus ST? One of the best Hot Hatches or no?

It rules. Also I may own an Oxford White 2015 Focus ST.

Had a very modified one. Sucked as a track car. But they're fun.

I can see that with how readily you just loose all grip. But I think I’d still love tossing it around at the limit on a track!

OEH! Nothing wrong with a nice white car! And it does fit the Focus ST quite well!

Very well-produced review. I hope to see more!

I have been doing them for a while. Sometimes they are far and few because I am reliant on fellow enthusiasts. But I really love doing them when I can! The most powerful car I have done was a 2015 Charger Hellcat. It will stay boss for a while I am sure!

Grip is fine, they just like to overheat, lol.

Plus one on the overheating on track. They’re fantastic daily drivers, but they are definitely not track cars.

The cooling system is downright inadequate, but the real kicker is the brake vectoring to limit torque steer. These brakes go into melt down very quickly, even when accelerating in a straight line!

I drove it hard, but no where near you would on a track... Man, that would be something... Have a track to review cars on. Ah well, that is the stuff of automotive journalism dreams right there! (A la Top Gear / Fifth Gear / Grand Tour).

For this reason I have never understood why brake vectoring is a good idea. The moment you start driving spiritedly, your brakes are overheated.
